CENTRALE SHOPPING CENTRE TO HOST DAY OF THE DEAD EVENT THIS OCTOBER

Halloween is almost here and to celebrate the arrival of the spooky season, Centrale Shopping Centre, Croydon, is hosting a Mexican Day of the Dead themed event on October 23rd and 24th.

If you are looking for an entertaining and colourful way to spend Halloween with your kids, or simply something to keep them entertained during the half term, then head to Centrale for an explosion of creative fun.

Day of the Dead, Día de los Muertos, is the annual Mexican celebration to remember the dead with two days of vibrant traditions and joyful activity. This Halloween, Centrale Shopping Centre will be swapping spooky ghouls and ghosts for flowers and fancy-dress fun, bringing Mexico all the way to South London.

The event is made up of a series of Day of the Dead themed activities with plenty to enjoy and keep your little ones entertained and engaged.  Let the creativity flow with traditional mask decorating, gooey slime making, and plenty of Instagram-worthy photo opportunities at the centres very own themed flower wall. Additionally, visitors can explore the Day of the Dead themed fancy-dress rail to fully immerse themselves in the celebration.

David Ordman, General Manager at Centrale Shopping Centre, said: “We’re continually bringing unique experiences to Centrale for our visitors to enjoy, and we think guests will have plenty of fun at our Day of the Dead event. From partaking in traditional mask making, to slime making for children, there will be plenty of entertainment available for everyone”.
