Little Bear’s Nursery hosts sleep consultant to discuss top tips for parents battling sleepless nights

Recent research from the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of child health shows that parents should worry less about the amount of screen-time and instead ensure that their children are getting sufficient and good quality sleep. Getting a good night’s sleep is critical and if you’re not getting one. You may want to hire a sleep consultant for some help1. With it being a frequent topic of conversation among parents, award-winning Little Bear’s Nursery in Zone 1’s Elephant & Castle, will host an evening with Judy Clark, the UK’s leading certified Sleep SenseTM consultant and founder of BabyWinkz, to share her top tips on how parents can deal with their children’s sleep difficulties, where guests can listen, ask questions, get advice and also enjoy complimentary pizza and prosecco!

Following Judy’s struggles with her own child’s difficulties with sleeping and all too familiar with the feelings of helplessness, exhaustion and confusion that comes with being a new parent, Judy’s programme stresses the importance of letting babies and children soothe themselves into a deep and restful sleep pattern. Through her customised approach to helping families to devise a sleeping plan that they are comfortable with, Judy has helped hundreds of families from both across the nation and globally to get their little ones to sleep at night. If you are a new parent facing problems with sleeping, you could opt to take up Judy’s sessions which could help your babies sleep. If not, you would have to be innovative and research what might be the problem for your little one’s restlessness. Maybe you could find best baby cribs at www.SafeBabyMonitor.com, or you could look at white noise apps to help your children improve their sleep cycle. All of this would however depend on how well you research for your sake, and your baby’s!

Judy Clark, the UK’s leading certified Sleep SenseTM consultant and founder of BabyWinkz said: “I struggled with my first child’s sleep problems and I understand how it feels when your little one is struggling to sleep through the night. It often makes parents feel helpless, exhausted, and confused but it doesn’t always have to be that way. I customise my programs to suit each individual family, and work alongside parents to devise plans they are comfortable with and that they can easily adopt on a daily basis.”

Throughout the evening, Judy will discuss how parents can help to develop healthy sleep habits for their children. Judy will focus on babies and toddlers who are generally the most troublesome sleepers. Following the seminar, Judy will answer questions from parents and share top tips that they could implement to improve the quality of sleep for their children. This is a must-attend event for anyone locally with babies and toddlers!

Lee and Shona O’Neill founders of the award-winning Little Bear’s Nursery who operate four locations in central London (www.littlebearsnursery.co.uk) said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming Judy to Little Bear’s to share her expertise with our parents and the community from Elephant & Castle. It’s always a talking point in our nurseries when children aren’t sleeping well so we look forward to hearing Judy’s talk and being able to help our children now and in the future.”
