Newham interim chief executive announced

Newham Council appointed Katherine Kerswell as interim chief executive for a period of six months.

She will replace Kim Bromley-Derry who announced in June that he intends to retire from the role on 31 August.

Katherine said: “I am honoured to be joining Newham Council. I am delighted to have the opportunity of working with Mayor Fiaz to accelerate the pace of her agenda to deliver major change.”
