Picture-perfect café The Knot Churros is back with a bang

The Knot Churros, located on London’s iconic Bute Street, is thrilled to be reopening, on the 12th of April, after months of running as a takeaway-only business due to prolonged periods of lockdown. The brainchild of talented interior designer, Anisah Taj, The Knot Churros is all set to welcome customers back to its fully immersive in-café experience w ith a fresh menu that focuses on the importance of self-care.

This unique café concept originated from Anisah’s passion for creative design. With specific dietary requirements herself, Anisah wanted to create a range of desserts that were accessible to all and showcased an unrivalled design concept.Baked not fried

The Knot Churros main goal was to create a menu that could be enjoyed by all.

Specifically crafted to suit a broad range of dietary requirements, these stunning churro creations are baked and not fried, providing a healthier dessert option. Extra special trimmings from candyfloss to edible sprinkles ensure every churro becomes a work of art in its own right. All of the churros served are suitable for vegans.

The extensive milkshake offering and range of hot drinks can also all be made vegan friendly if customers aren’t able to enjoy dairy.

Curating a sense of escapism

Following months of lockdown, there is no doubt that people can’t wait for a little more freedom to venture further than our local parks. As soon as you step into The Knot Churros Café, you’ll notice the fully immersive experience, carefully created to transport you from city life to sunnier climates, evoking the churro’s Spanish origin.

The décor takes Instagrammable cafe interiors to new heights. The petite space is filled to the brim with mood-boosting candy-coloured hues and captivating 3D flower walls that emulate the same aesthetic as the funky desserts. A bespoke, energetic playlist vibrates throughout the café while staff dance in the open kitchen, allowing customers to have a clear view of their menu choices being crafted. Further, guests can relax in a hammock against the rolled-back bi-folding café front, letting in the fresh air and sunshine. Once inside, you can’t help but sit back and soak in the infectious theatrical atmosphere, perhaps with a churro and ice cream. We guarantee you’ll leave with a new lease of life.

What’s new?

The new theme will be centred on crystal healing, as a nod to the importance of self-care after a very challenging year for all. The Knot Churros creative team has developed stunning new offerings including Rose quartz, Amythst and Emerald churros, all of which come complete with soft-serve ice cream, candy floss and a range of toppings.

For the relaunch, the existing menu will also be back, featuring everything from classic churros to chilled churros (baked churros served with soft-serve ice cream), a range of hot drinks and milkshakes. For those with less of a sweet tooth, there is a full selection of bagels and savoury churros.
