Popular Children’s author Helen Peters, to read at Centrale & Whitgift Shopping Centre

Get your bookmarks at the ready, as Centrale & Whitgift invite you and the little ones to a relaxing story-time corner on Friday 6th September, to celebrate National Read a Book Day.

Popular children’s author, Helen Peters, will be reading from her beloved children’s book, ‘An Otter Called Pebble’, in Whitgift Square, Whitgift Shopping Centre. This is the seventh book in a fantastic series of animal tales from the author which looks sure to keep the kids entertained.

Helen, now a widely published children’s author, spent her childhood reading stories and putting on plays in a shed that she and her friends turned into a theatre – so be sure to RSVP at centraleandwhitgift.co.uk to see her in action next Friday.

Helen Peters said: ‘Sharing stories is such a lovely thing to do and reading for pleasure enhances children’s lives in so many ways. I can’t wait to visit Whitgift Shopping Centre to read from ‘An Otter Called Pebble’ on National Read a Book Day.’

Families can fully immerse themselves in the experience as they are invited to hop on a beanbag, unwind and take part in the story-time. All kids will be able to receive a copy of ‘An Otter Called Pebble’ for free via the Centrale PLUS app*. Download PLUS here: centraleandwhitgift.co.uk/plus
