Southwark based EnviroBuild wins Golden Apple award for Environmental Best Practice

EnviroBuild, the sustainable construction company, yesterday was presented with the The Golden Apple award for Environmental Best practice within the “Building & Construction, Innovation” category at the International Green Apple Environment Awards, held in the House of Commons, London.

The awards are organised by The Green Organisation, an international, independent, non-political, non-profit environment group that recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world. They began 1994 and have become established as the country’s major recognition for environmental endeavour among companies, councils and communities.

James Brueton, co-founder of EnviroBuild said, “As green practises are fundamental to our entire business model, being recognised for our environmental policies by The Green Organisation is a testament to both our commitment to environmentalism as well as our growth as a profitable company. We were delighted to accept this award as it reflects the team’s autonomous passion towards sustainability and drive to help on a larger scale.”

The accolade sits alongside EnviroBuild’s repertoire of awards and finalist placements, including the Federation of Small Business London Ethical and Green Business of the year, which they won earlier in 2018.

The Green Apple Awards are supported by the Environment Agency, the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, the Chartered Institution for Wastes Management and other independent bodies.
