Findings from SpareRoom’s Q2 2019 Rental Index – a comprehensive overview of the UK flatshare market using data from over 300,000 ads – have been revealed today.

The average UK room rent has increased by 2% (£603) compared to this time last year. Over the same period London room rents are up 4% (£777), increasing by an average of £33 per month.
