The former London home of renowned writer and author H.G. Wells is on sale exclusively through leading ultra-prime estate agent Aston Chase for £13,950,000. The Grade I Listed Nash residence, located at 13 Hanover Terrace in Regent’s Park, was the home and primary residence of Wells from 1933 up until his death in 1946.

Wells was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature four times throughout his life and his novels are still recognised as some of the greatest pieces of science fiction ever written.

Despite advice and requests from friends, Wells refused to leave 13 Hanover Terrace during the Second World War and the Blitz and he lived out the remainder of his days there enjoying the views over Regent’s Park. Wells lived in the house until he died on the 13th of August 1946 in 13 Hanover Terrace
