The Virtual Songwriters Circle announces second show

After a string of sell-out shows at London’s Roundhouse and a virtual session in April, The Songwriters Circle is back for May and will be going transatlantic. It will be bringing to people’s homes, some of the world’s most respected songwriters who will perform songs we love in their own unique voices, in a relaxed and acoustic setting from their home studios in aid of NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International) and with support from The Roundhouse.

The second session will be co-hosted by Nashville based hitmaker and ex BMI VP Jeff Cohen and the London-born singer-songwriter Riva Taylor. And, will include Ivor Novello recipient Roger Cook who co-compositions include You’ve Got Your Troubles, and the multi-million selling track, I’d Like To Teach The World To Sing, Kevin Kadish who co-wrote, produced, and mixed the 2014 multi-platinum single All about That Bassby popstrel Megan Trainor and Country Music sweetheart, Sarah Darling whose latest album, Wonderland, reached #1 on the official UK country album charts, come together on (YouTube) to perform and exchange songs and stories.

Co-creator Riva Taylor says: ‘The Roundhouse and NSAI have partnered with us on The Songwriters Circle from the start and in this challenging time of isolation, it’s more important than ever that we continue to support this young and growing community of creatives. We hope that generous donations on the night will go some way towards achieving this and that. We hope viewers will be left feeling inspired as well as uplifted by the fantastic songwriting talent they have watched’.
