TV Stars head up judging panel at the Britain’s Top Designer Award

Diversity, Stars and Goodwill come together this fashion week when current Celebrity Stylist Bernard Connolly beckons as the head judge of Britain’s Top Designer Award.

Currently, stylist at Britain’s Next Top Model on Lifetime TV, Bernard Connolly will be presiding over the next future design talent as head judge on Sunday, the 18th of February 2018, 7:30 pm, at Fashions Finest near Covent Garden at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in, 61-65 Great Queen St, London WC2B 5DA. Joining on the judging panel are some familiar faces such as Britain’s Next Top Model judge and celebrity photographer Nicky Johnston along with TV presenter and stylist Nicky Hambleton-Jones, and fashion expert Lola Royle. The event is hosted by Fashions Finest and presented by Radio and TV presenter Laura Naylor.

Bernard Connolly, who dresses the likes of Naomi & Valerie Campbell, and Lizzie Cundy, says, “We have an exciting line up of designers this season and they have quite something to live up to with the last two winners being Hellavagirl (as seen on The Apprentice) and John Herrera.”

The event culminates a weekend of fashion at the Connaught Rooms that will see Paralympian Samanta Bullock model and Afton McKeith launching her first T-shirt collection in aid of the World Youth Organisation. Afton is the youngest daughter of famous TV Personality and Bestselling Author Gillian McKeith. A project at school was the catalyst of the Afton McKeith t-shirt collection.

“It is very difficult to find 100% Organic Cotton t-shirts with cool designs. Each t-shirt has a positive message that I am hoping to spread to the world”, says Afton.

Once Afton has launched her collection in her catwalk show, she will begin to sell the t-shirts and the proceeds will be donated to the World Youth Organization, which is a charity that helps young people. Afton and her mother Gillian are Ambassadors for the charity. Afton seeks to be a great role model for others, by encouraging a healthy, fit and happy lifestyle for everyone. She is the voice of young people and an empowering activist for good physical and mental health.
