UK Government Change Guidance on Wearing Face Masks

The UK Government has now released concrete guidance that face coverings should be worn in crowded places including public transport and shops. A social distance of 2m is recommended in every aspect of daily life, however in some situations this is near impossible, displaying a strong need for safe, effective face protection that stops the spread of COVID-19. This has been backed by Transport for London who have confirmed face masks should be worn on all tubes and buses.

A traditional 3 ply mask or home-made face covering may need to be changed every three hours. This is not only bad for the environment, but puts health and hygiene are at risk. The skin is in direct contact with this type of mask and filter, so it gets very wet and uncomfortable creating rashes and other skin concerns.

Introducing the breakthrough design of the KN95 S9-M reusable mask, is comfortable to wear (designed to fit the structure of the face) and does not directly come in contact with the user’s face, which can effectively reduce the direct splashing of internal droplets on the mask and skin. The 99% BFE protection is achieved by using four layers of protection. It can be easily sanitised by placing in boiling water at the end of each day.

SAFE: KN95 S9-M Protective Level (99% BFE)
COMFORT: Baby Pacifier Grade Silicone
AFFORDABLE: Save up to 87% of total cost within 3 months
SUSTAINABLE: Main mask can be used for up two years, filter lasts up to 7 days (depending on the contamination level)

The KN95 S9-M was originally developed for the COVID 19 crisis in Wuhan and is used by the Beijing Government, many UK Care homes, German police and Red Cross. See attached for more information.
