081 Pizzeria launches pulled lamb Neapolitan pizza for Easter

Urban Neapolitan pizza spot 081 Pizzeria has partnered with Bando Belly, London’s soul food fusion spot to create not one, but two limited edition dishes for this Easter.

The duo, located at Peckham Levels, are putting the luscious lamb front and centre with their Easter specials, enhancing its unique flavour profile with a blend of locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients.

Launching this Easter Sunday, the specials will be on offer from 17th April – 24th April. The collaboration will see a pulled lamb pizza sold at 081 Pizzeria and a sub-style cheesesteak sold at Bando Belly. Each dish is £12 but you can enjoy both for just £20 – available for collection and dine-in only.

1) Lamb Shallot Bando Ugh – The pulled lamb pizza (£12)

This exclusive Easter-inspired Neapolitan pizza will boast a red & green base, combining 081’s creamy tomato sauce and Bando’s green sauce. Toppings will include Bando Belly’s tender pulled lamb, with mozzarella, shallots, basil, parmesan, EVO oil, garnished with crispy onions, spring onions, sesame seed, parsley and chilli sauce.

2) 081 Banzino Cheesesteak – The sub cheesesteak (£12)

*Find at Bando Belly*

Think soft, pillowy Neapolitan pizza dough transformed into an hand-crafted American-style sub filled with fresh, fusion-inspired, flavour-bursting ingredients. The sub will boast a juicy beef steak with cheese, lathered with old bay mustard, spring onions, parsley and served plus a side of tater tots and a pot of gravy to dip.

Both 081 Pizzeria and Bando Belly launched during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021 and have fast become popular hotspots on London’s food scene. With its funky, youthful aesthetic and strong music influence, 081 Pizzeria is on a mission to challenge the perception of the typical Italian Pizzerias in the UK by pioneering a ‘new age pizza culture’ with unconventional flavours and techniques.

Bando Belly has created its own signature soul food fusion cuisine with flavours inspired by America, the Caribbean, South East Asia and primarily and most importantly – multicultural London and its rich and diverse food heritage. Its unique menu features complex flavours from around the globe with elements from traditional cuisines.
