10 unmissable events at Wembley Park this autumn / winter

Few areas of the capital provide such a variety of events as Wembley Park – London’s most exciting new neighbourhood. From sport to music to cultural celebrations, Wembley Park has something for everyone. Here are ten of the most eagerly anticipated events to enjoy this season.
1. Secret Cinema: Guardians of the Galaxy

Following the hugely popular Bridgerton ball in Wembley Park earlier this year, Secret Cinema returns with an out-of-this-world Guardians of the Galaxy experience. Attendees can explore new planets and go on never-before-seen missions with the Guardians this October and November, with an optional screening of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 for those looking for maximum intergalactic adventuring.
2. Wembley Park Art Trail: Time of Phoenix

Wembley Park unveils a new public, open air exhibition by Ukrainian-born artist and photographer Ira Lupu. ‘Time of Phoenix’ will be on display until 15 November 2022 and reveals an intimate set of photographs that document Lupu’s return to her home country, Ukraine, for the first time since the war began. Exhibited for the first time in Wembley Park, the exhibition is part of ‘Visions of Home,’ a wider series, curated by Lupu, that includes photography exhibitions, site-specific installations, and digital artworks – conveying powerful messages to raise awareness of how, from the perspective of Ukrainian artists, a sense of home has been forever altered.
3. Party Fit Live

Have fun and get fit with Party Fit Live at The Yellow, Wembley Park’s community hub. Join a regular Party Fit Live group class, run by pro personal trainer Rey, blending Boxercise, core, cardio, calisthenics, and dance elements to music to provide a fun and effective workout. Equipment includes battle ropes, kettle bells, slam balls and Blaze Pod flash reflex tech. This high intensity class is designed to burn calories, strengthen and tone.
4. Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby

Audiences are on the edge of their seats as Rambert Dance deliver their spectacular Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby event at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre. The dance theatre event will run until 6th November 2022, ahead of Rambert Dance’s 2023 UK tour. This first-of-its-kind production has been written and adapted by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and directed and choreographed by Rambert’s Artistic Director Benoit Swan Pouffer. The production will feature the 20-strong Rambert dance company on stage, while a live band plays specially commissioned music, creating an experience that is not to be missed.
5. Dead Icons Halloween Party: Thriller with Forever Jackson

The ultimate Michael Jackson tribute arrives at BOXPARK Wembley for a special Halloween party on Saturday 29th October. Forever Jackson have worked with A-listers including Bon Jovi, Katy Perry and more. Expect stunning choreography and special effects as part of a celebration of iconic MJ signature moments – look out for that Smooth Criminal lean as part of this musical and visual extravaganza!
6. Wembley Park Antiques Market

The monthly Wembley Park Antiques Market is always a huge hit with bargain hunters seeking out antiques and collectibles. The huge range of traders means there’s always something exciting to discover among the vintage, retro and salvage items. It’s the ultimate shopping experience for those looking for unique home, garden, furniture and fashion pieces.
7. Broncos vs Jaguars

American football fans can see the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Denver Broncos at Wembley Stadium on 30th October, with kick-off set for 1.30 pm. It is the tenth year that the Jaguars have played in London and their 9th game at Wembley Stadium, while the Broncos are heading across the pond for the first time in over a decade for what is set to be a thrilling clash.
8. Newsies

Disney’s award-winning, smash hit Broadway musical Newsies arrives at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre on 28th November, running until 18th February 2023. Based on the book by Harvey Fierstein, and with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Jack Feldman, Newsies has already scooped two Tonys for its immersive telling of the tale of a ragged band of teenage newspaper sellers dreaming of a better life and prepared to challenge exploitation and privilege to get it.
9. Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Live

Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, Disney’s iconic festive classic, arrives at the OVO Arena Wembley in style for two special live performances on 9th and 10th December. Award-winning Hollywood composer and songwriter Danny Elfman has worked his magic, while the BBC Concert Orchestra and very special guests cannot help but wow audiences. Elfman will perform the songs of the protagonist – Jack Skillington – live in sync with the film projected on the big screen for a wonderfully immersive festive experience.
10. World Cup Screenings at BOXPARK Wembley

As the World Cup excitement builds, BOXPARK Wembley will welcome fans for live screenings and lively entertainment, with DJs, presenters, special guests and a few surprises thrown in for good measure. BOXPARK Black Card holders will have the chance for exclusive pre-sales tickets and priority access. During World Cup screenings, standing tickets with food, exclusive VIP tables and private screening spaces will allow fans to enjoy the match in a variety of ways.
