This summer, Honi Poke, in collaboration with Disney’s “Moana,” is inviting poke lovers to find their wave ahead of the 10th July cinema release of the highly anticipated new live-action reimagining. To mark the collaboration, Honi Poke will release a Find Your Wave poke bowl, inspired by the film’s tropical setting, adventurous spirit and connection to the ocean. The new bowl will be featured at the “Moana” Experience at Potters Field Park on 30th June, during which more than 1,000 complimentary Find Your Wave bowls will be available (whilst stocks last).
The free-to-attend pop up experience, which arrives in London ahead of the film’s UK cinema release on 10th July, will allow visitors to discover ‘how far they’ll go’ as they voyage into the world of “Moana.” Located just off the shores of the Thames, the pop up will be centered around a giant recreation of Maui’s magical hook and will see an oasis of “Moana” magic inspired by Pacific cultures burst to life. There will also be live entertainment and photo opportunities, featuring Moana’s iconic canoe.
Guests will have the opportunity to experience a taste of the Pacific in the form of Honi Poke’s Find Your Wave bowl – which brings together vibrant tropical flavours. A base of coconut rice will be topped with fresh tuna, vibrant green coconut curry sauce, mango, edamame and smashed avocado, finished with coriander, coconut flakes and lime for a vibrant bowl, packed with tropical flavour.
As part of the celebration to support the release of “Moana” in cinemas, visitors who sample the Find Your Wave Bowl in one of Honi Poke stores across the UK will also have the chance to win a £3,000 Honi Poke credit by scanning QR codes featured on bowls throughout the campaign.
