With millions of Brits watching the televised New Year’s celebrations broadcast live from London, there is no doubt that England’s capital city is the place to be as we wave in the new year.

With so much on offer in the big smoke, from free parties that last all night long, to classy skyscraper socials where you can brush shoulders with celebrities – why would you want to spend your NYE anywhere else?

The Shard – London Bridge

With various events taking place inside this iconic feature of London’s skyline, you will truly feel like you’re at the centre of it all if you see it in the New Year at the Shard.

Treat yourself to deluxe dining and Instagrammable views at TING, or enjoy the ultimately suave party atmosphere at the Gatsby-Esque GONG. There’s even a swanky shin-dig, complete with bottomless booze at Oblix, also located within The Shard.

Tickets for these events are some of the hottest tickets in town, so be prepared, they are naturally expensive. Prices for the various NYE events happening in this piercing skyscraper range from £200 to as much as £2,650 for premium packages.

Some of the standout items on the menu include the tantalising truffle risotto and the pan-fried duck breast.
