15Hatfields Honoured for their work in Carbon Reduction at the Greengage Sustainability Awards 2025
15Hatfields was awarded the Silver Award for Outstanding Achievement in Carbon Reduction & Net Zero, at the Greengage Sustainability Awards 2025 on Friday afternoon at BMA House.
Recognised for their significant achievement in reducing carbon emissions and advancing toward net-zero goals, the silver award win is another step in 15Hatfields journey to become carbon negative, following the venue becoming carbon neutral in December 2024.
As part of their Counting the Cost of Carbon campaign launched earlier this year, 15Hatfields now shares its annual carbon emissions report on its website, alongside their sustainability roadmap, with detailed examples of what clients can expect to find in their complimentary post-event carbon calculator report to assist businesses in reaching their ESG targets.
The recently released carbon calculator report estimates the total savings achieved by hosting at an ECOsmart Platinum venue certified for its outstanding sustainable practices and initiatives. And, to help planners contextualise their impact, it provides a meaningful comparison to the carbon footprint required to make a regular cup of coffee, all the way from production to consumption.
The award win pays homage to 15Hatfields’ ongoing work to rigorously monitor their supply chain, as they look to hold events that don’t cost the earth.
Warren Campbell, 15Hatfields’ general manager, said: “This award is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our team, our suppliers, and our clients who share our vision of a greener, more sustainable future. Achieving carbon neutral status is no small feat, but we believe that through innovation, collaboration and the review of our supplier chain, we can lead by example and inspire others to take action. We are incredibly proud of this recognition and will continue to push on with our sustainable efforts and to help others in the meetings and events industry follow suit.”
