20ten celebrates 10 years of doing it for the fans and prepares for US expansion

London-based creative agency 20ten intends to make its 10-year anniversary a memorable one with the launch of a refreshed visual identity, a brand new website and the opening of its first US office. 20ten is a fully integrated creative agency with a fan-focused lens, using insight and unique technology to understand and engage fandoms through original content and creativity.

Founded in 2013, 20ten emerged as a vibrant community of fans and enthusiasts passionate about the world of film & TV, video games, music and sport. Over the years, the agency has developed a reputation for its deep understanding of fan culture to produce immersive, visually impactful work, including the theatrical launch campaigns for The Flash and Elvis for Warner Bros. Discovery, plus major game launches such as Dead Island 2.

Today, 20ten boasts a diverse client portfolio, including Disney, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Odeon Cinemas Group, PlayStation, Warner Bros. Discovery, PUMA and McLaren.

A big part of 20ten’s anniversary celebrations is the news that it is opening its first US office to help it work more closely with its growing roster of major entertainment clients. Ever since its inception, the agency has been servicing international and US clients, so the opening of its LA operation is the next natural step. The office will go live with a full team across client services and creative production.

“When we founded 20ten back in 2013, our ambition was simple – to do great work for clients and brands, we were passionate about. So it’s amazing to be here a decade on, with a team boasting more than sixty of the industry’s most talented people, taking our fan-centric approach to the US,” said Olly Blitz, co-founder and CEO. “It’s so rewarding to see our belief in our process pay off as industry budgets shift towards creators and fan-led communities. And what could be a better omen for a new US office than opening it on the 4th of July?”

20ten describes itself as an independent community of fans, nerds and creatives redefining how people connect with their favourite brands. The agency has four key parts to its business: 20ten Creative (integrated creative offering), 20ten Studios (full in-house production company), 20ten Networks (identifying and managing brand partnership opportunities, creator talent and triple-A artists) and 20ten Levels (strategy and data intelligence practice).
