To celebrate the launch, illy and Badiani will be giving away 600 free affogatos across Badiani’s 12 London shops, with 50 available at each location on a first-come, first-served basis. As temperatures rise and Londoners look for ways to cool down, the affogato offers the perfect opportunity to combine two Italian passions – coffee and gelato – in a decadent dessert.
Badiani’s delicious signature Buontalenti gelato (made with cream, milk, sugar & eggs) is topped with illy’s 100% Arabica velvety smooth espresso – the hot coffee is poured over the cool creamy gelato combining to create a sensational serve.
