Dexters strengthens Prime Central London presence with the opening of a new office in Chelsea
London’s leading independent Chartered Surveyor and Estate Agent Dexters has strengthened its Prime Central London presence with the opening of a new office on Sloane Avenue, Chelsea, handling sales, lettings and property management, following their busiest summer for the past five years.
Prominently located on a corner site at 45 Sloane Avenue and offering 1,000 sq. ft. of space, the new office opening is testament to Dexters’ market confidence and provides sought-after extra space for socially-distanced working. Following COVID-19 protocol, all visits to Dexters offices are by appointment only, with the new Sloane Avenue office providing increased space for the busy Chelsea team to meet with clients and home-seekers safely.
Dexters has seen a huge increase in buyer and tenant enquiries over the Summer, with the agency currently carrying out over 9,000 property viewings per week and having 100,000 home-seekers from around the world registered with them looking for a London home or investment.
The new Sloane Avenue office will work in tandem with Dexters’ existing Chelsea office, located nearby at 14 Culford Gardens, which provides a further 1,800 sq. ft. of space. With 70 offices across the capital, including 12 in Prime Central London, Dexters has a greater presence in the heart of the capital than any other estate agency.
Dexters is particularly active in Prime Central London, with a network of 12 offices covering all the most desirable central locations including Chelsea, Belgravia, Knightsbridge, Kensington, Notting Hill, Marylebone and Westminster. Marketing is coordinated through their Mayfair showroom on Grosvenor Street, which is their shop window to the world.
Mayfair is also home to the Corporate Lettings and International Relocation team who handle a continual stream of enquiries from international blue-chip companies and overseas investors.
Drawing upon the pool of highly skilled and experienced Dexters people, the Chelsea Sales department is run by Percy Lendrum, Director, who was born and bred in Chelsea and has 10 years’ experience in the local market. The Lettings department is run by Pam Simmons, Director, who has been with Dexters for 16 years, specialising in central London lettings. Dexters highlight that they will be looking to recruit further team members to join their Prime Central London offices.
Andy Shepherd, Chief Executive of Dexters, comments “We are thrilled to be opening in such a high-profile location on Sloane Avenue and looking forward to further increasing our portfolio of sales and lettings properties in Chelsea, Belgravia and the surrounding area. This opening is perfectly timed, coinciding with the busiest and most productive market we have seen in Prime Central London in five years. Enquiries for properties here are flooding in, including increasing activity from the corporate world through our relocation team. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the way in which we operate and with safety our top priority, the new office provides plenty of space for our team to work.”
