London Network of CoWork Spaces launches with LOWE
With a flagship location in Fulham and an upcoming network of locations across London, LOWE Works is the new, affordable, co-working concept launched by property guardian company LOWE, as the demand for localised working grows.
LOWE Works is designed to provide affordable co-working spaces to start-ups, creatives and entrepreneurs, with a mixture of dedicated desks and private offices available. The first location has launched at Alexander House in Fulham, a former warehouse with plenty of natural light, with the offices breathing new life into large, disused spaces.
The locations are chosen carefully with a priority that users are able to easily walk or cycle to the offices, rather than commuting long distances across the city. The new ‘neighbourhood network’ of offices will be developed to provide comprehensive cover across London, and provide Londoners with extensive choice.
LOWE Works allows users to be part of a creative, stimulating community, with dedicated break-out spaces for collaborative working. Every location will offer 24-hour access, high-speed internet and lockable storage. There are bookable meeting rooms available by the hour or day, black and white printing, and complimentary fruit, and tea and coffee facilities. Prices for a dedicated desk at Alexander House start from £300 per person per month, with private offices for 2 to 8 people available from £350 per person per month.
Committed to supporting charity through every aspect of the LOWE business, every LOWE Works location will also offer a select number of Charity Seats; dedicated desks available at reduced rates to charitable ventures.
Tim Lowe, Founder & Director of LOWE, says: “With COVID-19 affecting how businesses view the traditional office setting, more and more we are seeing that Londoners want flexible workspaces with a creative atmosphere, in locations that they can easily walk or cycle to. LOWE Works has been designed to provide affordable co-working spaces, ideal for start-ups, creatives and entrepreneurs. For so many young creatives and professionals, being part of a stimulating community is key for their work/life balance, and at a time when the creative industry has been so badly affected, it is essential these businesses and individuals have access to affordable, well-resourced spaces to work.”
Following the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions throughout this year, a survey has found that increasingly Londoners want access to a local workspace, rather than having to commute to more central areas. 61% of those asked would like to work two or three days a week at an office close to their homes. In addition, 7 out of 10 Londoners want to cut their commute time.
Alexander House is located in the leafy neighbourhood of Parsons Green on Peterborough Road, just a 5-minute walk from Parsons Green tube station and close to the junction of New Kings Road. New Kings Road and Parsons Green provide a wide range of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.
At Alexander House in Fulham, there are dedicated desks available from £300 per month and private offices available from £350 per month.
