AWARD-WINNING ROMULO CAFÉ & RESTAURANT RE-OPENS FOR DELIVERY IN TIME FOR VALENTINE’S DAY
Anyone craving the taste of Filipino food is in for a treat as the multi award-winning
Romulo Café & Restaurant reopens its doors for delivery and collection from 11th
February.
Executive Chef Jeremy Villanueva and his brilliant team have been hard at work
concocting a brilliant menu of new signatures alongside beloved favourites.
Perfectly timed for 14th February, what better way to celebrate at home than with
Romulo’s amazing five-course Valentine’s feast for two? This is the ideal opportunity to
try out some of the restaurant’s exciting newcomers, including Beef Adobo sa Gata –
grass-fed beef short-ribs cooked adobo style – and Sea Bass alla Plancha with tausi
black beans. Finish off with an aphrodisiac-packed chilli-infused dark chocolate coconut
rice cheesecake. And although you can never put a price on love, how about just £60,
inclusive of a bottle of house red or white wine?
But Romulo’s creativity doesn’t end there. Also set to be unveiled this month is a
collection of totally irresistible new bakery items.
Tuck into Jeremy’s melt-in-the-mouth pandesal doughnuts, complete with yummy fillings
such as chocolate or purple yam & coconut. Or perhaps ensaymada, soft and sweet
dough pastry covered with butter and sugar then topped with oodles of grated cheese?
Don’t worry, Romulo’s iconic pandesal – still the last word in warm, fluffy bread rolls – will
still be freshly baked each day.
Finally, how about a breakfast worth getting up for? Filipinos love to start the day on a
full belly, so Romulo is now packing a box filled with unashamedly authentic breakfast
essentials – one dozen pandesal, ube mousse jam, chorizo de Cebu and butter spread
with ‘tuyo’ (salted dried fish).

Hours are 12 noon to 8pm, Thursday to Sunday.
