Camden Town Brewery to launch iconic beer venue Camden Beer Hall with chef Theo Randall

Finally! The warmer months are coming, which means one thing – a fresh round of beers anyone? Introducing the Camden Beer Hall: our brand new beer and food venue dedicated to all things fresh. Launching just in time for summer at our original Camden brewery site, we’ll be opening the Beer Hall doors in early June, ready for you to celebrate the summer with a pint in the sunshine.

Inspired by the Bavarian beer halls our founder Jasper encountered on trips to Germany which sparked the creation of our Hells Lager, the new Camden Beer Hall combines the great tasting never pasteurised beer you know and love, with all the innovation of our Camden brewery site to create a fresh beer drinking experience in London.

With a complete refurbishment of our original brewery bar, we’re excited to finally open the doors to a unique venue that’s set to become London’s most iconic beer drinking destination. After months of missing the pubs, the increase in size both inside and out, means space for more tables and more beers – we’ll cheers to that!

Given that our beer is brewed right next door under the arches in Wilkin Street Mews, our new Camden Beer Hall means you’ll have the chance to drink beer straight from the brewery – cutting down the time from tank to tongue.

And we can guarantee you’ll be spoilt for choice. With 24 taps on the bar, you’ll find a selection of our best and newest creations ranging from our much-loved Hells, Pale and Off Menu to our innovative Arch 55 series. What’s more, we have many exclusive small batch beers, that are not on tap for more than four weeks (unless we think it’s really that good) and can’t be found anywhere else in London.

But what’s good beer without good food to go with it? To compliment the fresh beer, we’ve teamed up with renowned chef, Theo Randall, to create a unique menu that perfectly pairs with our extensive beer selection. Combining Theo’s love for Italian cooking and seasonal ingredients, with dishes you’d find in a traditional Bavarian-style beer hall, you’d better bring your appetite…

Jasper Cuppaidge, Founder of Camden Town Brewery said:

“We’ve been making beer under the arches in Camden for 11 years now, and serving beer onsite has always been an important part of what we do, so we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our regulars, beer fans and local community back in to see what we’ve done with the place.

“Our house will be open again and it will be super exciting to be serving fresh, never pasteurised beer in our home, just like we always have – but now in a space that’s three times bigger and finally does justice to our vision. Bavarian beer halls have a special place in our hearts, as part of the experiences that inspired our Hells lager. If Hells is our version of a German Lager, this is our version of a Beer Hall, perfect for drinking the freshest Hells Lager.

“It made sense to have our great friend and great chef Theo Randall create the menu and look after the kitchen for us, championing fresh ingredients in a way is the perfect accompaniment to our beer. It will be the best beer experience in the city and we can’t wait for beer lovers to see what we’ve been up to when we fling open the doors”
