DAC Steve Rodhouse to take up new role in National Crime Agency

Deputy Assistant Commissioner Steve Rodhouse has announced he’ll be leaving the Met to take up the role of Director General (Operations) at the National Crime Agency (NCA).

Steve joined the Met in 2010 as a Commander, with lead responsibility for gangs and organised crime. He was promoted in 2014 to Deputy Assistant Commissioner for Specialist Crime and Operations, leading the Met’s response to organised crime, gun and gang violence, homicide and the online exploitation of children.

Steve said: “Although I’m looking forward to the future in the National Crime Agency, I’ll miss being part of the MPS. I’ve really enjoyed the past eight years here, and would like to thank everyone that I’ve worked with for their support, efforts and friendship.”
