Sutton Council is calling on all residents, partners and businesses to shape Sutton’s recovery from COVID-19

Sutton Council is calling on all residents, partners and businesses to shape Sutton’s recovery from COVID-19 by taking part in the Stronger Sutton Conversation.

By working together with communities in this way, the Council is aiming to tackle the challenges caused or worsened by the pandemic, to protect the things that local people value, and make Sutton an even better place to live, work and raise a family.

Leader of Sutton Council, Councillor Ruth Dombey, said:

“The pandemic has demonstrated the strength of community spirit in our borough and that bodes really well for the future.

“However, we know that the Covid-19 crisis has been long and painful for many people. Lockdown has changed our lives forever.

“We now have an opportunity to reshape our borough, including how we work, how we move around, how we shop and how we relax and have fun.

“We want to understand how Covid-19 affected people and businesses in the borough, and I encourage everyone to have their say in the Stronger Sutton Conversation.”

To take part in the Stronger Sutton Conversation, please fill out the online survey at https://bit.ly/StrongerSutton by 30 September or come along to one of our events.

Sutton businesses are also encouraged to complete a separate survey about how the pandemic has affected them at https://bit.ly/StrongerSuttonBusiness by 30 September.
