Nomad Developments shares the secrets behind creating the perfect riverside home

Boutique property company Nomad Developments has revealed the secrets of creating the perfect riverside home, having teamed up with interior design firm Pineapple Interiors to work on the two stunning waterfront homes at Richmond Riverside.

The homes in question are Osprey House and Dunlin House, which together make up Richmond Riverside. Spacious and ultra-luxurious, with private mooring onto the Thames in the back gardens, the development demands the best in terms of its architectural finish and interior design.

Just three minutes’ walk from Richmond-Upon-Thames town centre, the homes certainly enjoy a premium location. Richmond’s housing marketing performance is indicative of the borough’s desirability. While prices in London dropped by an average of 0.7% between April and May 2021, they rose by 2.5% in Richmond, according to Land Registry figures.

Pineapple Interiors has been working with Nomad Developments to create the vision for the architectural and design elements of Richmond Riverside. Their work began early on, with Interior Designer Louise McGarry commenting:

“For Nomad Developments, the bones of the house are very important. Before any building work begins, we produce a detailed layout plan to carefully consider how the space will best be used for family living. This is then paired with an electrical plan to ensure that sockets and light fittings are in all the right places – for example a socket in the floor underneath the desk in the home office.”
