Friendly barbershop in Chiswick boosts business and draws a crowd with UVC-light robot to fight pathogens

Dan’s Barbers in Chiswick, London was extra busy on a Friday in August as they reaching beyond the call of duty to try and ensure a safe, pathogen free environment that boosted the confidence of the clientele at the shop. Prior to a busy mid-morning Friday, Adam Hawrami called in Microstrategies and their hospital grade UV-C light robot to undertake a deep clean to ensure a safe and healthy environment, as seen in the link posted below.

Dan’s Barbers is a modern style barbershop with traditional values and an extremely varied clientele covering all age groups, including some vulnerable members of the community where hygiene and safety must remain a top priority at all times.

Adam Hawrami, owner, said, ‘That was very good, as the safety of my customers is very important.’

The high-profile hospital grade UV-C disinfection process not only rapidly deep-cleaned the shop, but also reassured and boosted the confidence of staff, clients and many onlookers who had a great view of the robot in action and it aroused a lot of curiosity. UV-C light robots are proving to be one of the best methods for a quick and thorough disinfection killing 99.999% of all pathogens – including viruses, bacteria and germs without using any chemicals. As soon as the robots had made the area safe it was immediately ready to be used again. Visual validation stickers, that change colour after UV-C light and a heat map of the area show that the area has been disinfected.

Adam, added, ‘It was very quick and all the people were watching from outside, it inspired confidence.’
