Leading volume housebuilder Weston Homes is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Gore as Group Operations Director, to help support and strengthen business operations during a period of rapid growth fuelled by new landmark schemes.

Highly experienced in both the London and Essex markets, Peter Gore brings with him a wealth of technical, commercial and construction expertise and joins Weston Homes from Taylor Wimpey London where he worked for the past three years as Managing Director.

Anglia Ruskin University BSc Building Management graduate Peter has previously worked in senior delivery and construction director roles at Barratt Homes and Mount Anvil on projects ranging from traditional housing through to complex multi-storey projects.

Working closely with Bob Weston, Chairman and Managing Director, Peter Gore will help with ensuring product delivery and quality, staff team building and development, exemplary health and safety and customer satisfaction.

Over the last five years (2017-2021) Weston Homes has purchased land sites that will deliver £2.13 billion (Gross Completed Value) worth of residential and mixed use development across outer London and the South East which includes 20 current active sites and over 7,500 new homes in the pipeline including traditional housing and large scale urban regeneration projects.

Projects include the £350 million Abbey Quays urban village in Barking, the £60 million Grade II listed Cambridge Military Hospital in Aldershot. the £0.5 billion 10.4 acre Lorimer Village in Goodmayes, the £50 million Town Quay Wharf in Barking, the £53 million Victoria Central in Southend-on-Sea and the £85 million The Laundry Works in Watford.
