The reggae-folk quintet Me and My Friends returns to the capital to perform at Grand Junction on Saturday 2 October.

Grand Junction welcomes Me and My Friends for a feel-good evening of live music in one of London’s newest music and arts venues on 2 October 2021.

Grand Junction’s atmospheric interior and ornate architecture was first experienced by music fans this Summer when the venue hosted an eclectic series of live concerts from artists including Penguin Cafe, Douglas Dare and Eliza Carthy. Following the Summer seasons success, Grand Junction is excited to continue welcoming audiences to enjoy new, diverse music in its magnificent setting.

Me and My Friends bring their infectious energy, creating a unique blend of bouncy reggae and afro-infused grooves soaked in elegant folk harmony, to Grand Junction W2.

The UK-based quintet plays soulful, poignant and gloriously danceable music that draws influence from vintage Ghanaian highlife, Jamaican roots and Afro-Brazilian folk.

The elegant voice and West African finger-picking guitar style of songwriter Nick Rasle combined with stunning vocal harmonies and the evocative combination of cello and clarinet, all underpinned by a vibrant rhythm section. This is sun-drenched music to brighten up a dark October evening.
