FIRST TIME BUYER HOME SHOW RETURNS TO LONDON

First time buyers in London struggling to find a way onto the property will once again be able to find out all they need to know at the First Time Buyer Home Show. The independent, advice-focussed property show is set to return to London on Saturday 19th March, in conjunction with National Homebuying Week – a campaign designed to educate and inspire homeownership.

Taking place at London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square from 10am to 4pm, the show is a free one-stop shop for first time buyers who are seeking free professional advice, and handy tips on the entire homebuying process.

Hosted by First Time Buyer Magazine with headline sponsors SO Resi by Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing, The First Time Buyer Home Show is the ultimate homebuying event in London featuring a range of exhibitors; from private housebuilders to housing associations, as well as independent mortgage and legal advisors.

The upcoming event is once again expected to welcome thousands of first time buyers through its doors. New this year, Jonnie Irwin, a well-known television presenter for Escape to the Country, writer and property expert is hosting an ‘Audience With’ session where he speaks to a range of industry experts, giving visitors the chance to learn about different homebuying options, as well as financial and legal processes.

The free exhibition will also highlight the best affordable homes available across London and the Home Counties – including those available through Shared Ownership or Help to Buy.

Lynda Clark, Director of the First Time Buyer Home Show, says: “It is no secret that first time buyers in London face some of the biggest challenges when it comes to buying their first home. So, we are very excited to once again be welcoming visitors to the First Time Buyer Home Show in London this March. Always a popular day for aspirational homebuyers in London and the Southeast, this free, helpful and informative event brings everything together under one roof.

“We have such a wide range of exhibitors and speakers lined up who are ready to provide free, unbiased and practical homebuying advice to visitors. Those who attend the show will hopefully leave inspired and fully equipped with all the information they need to take their first steps towards owning their first home in and around the Capital.”

Kush Rawal, Director of Residential Investment at headline sponsor SO Resi, comments: “We have seen record numbers of first time buyers searching for their first home in London throughout the past 12 months, with many expressing a desire to be in the thick of it rather than fleeing to the countryside. Thanks to the availability of schemes like shared ownership, this dream can become a reality. The First Time Buyer Home Show offers a unique opportunity for aspirational buyers to conduct their factfinding under one roof and engage with dozens of experts, whatever stage of homebuying they are at.”
