REVEALED: The London boroughs with the most intelligent students
Kingston Upon Thames has the most intelligent students in London, new research can reveal.
In Kingston Upon Thames, 71.6% of students boast a strong Grade 9-5 pass at GCSE (9 being the highest attainable grade and 4 being the minimum grade for a pass), compared to the London average of 57.1 % . In comparison, Lewisham – the London borough with the fewest students who achieved a strong Grade 9-5 pass – saw just 48.3% of pupils achieve this.
The research, by international education providers Oxford Summer School analysed new data from the Department of Education on the GCSE results of state-run schools in London, to discover which London boroughs had the lowest and highest percentages of strong passes (Grade 9-5) at GCSE.
