ICE AGE’S BUCK WILD AND FRIENDS CRASH INTO THE STREETS OF LONDON

To celebrate the highly-anticipated debut of The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild exclusively on Disney+ this Friday, Disney commissioned UK artist Joe Hill of 3D Joe and Max to create a piece of interactive art in London to transport fans to the Lost World uncovered by fan-favourite characters Crash and Eddie in the blockbuster film.

The eye-catching 3D artwork, by 3D Joe and Max, is on display in Bishop’s Square in the heart of London’s Spitalfields today, inviting fans and passers-by to explore the world of the film by stepping into the optical illusion. The interactive art features a soaring pterodactyl flying away from the verdant Lost World below as possum brothers Crash and Eddie cling to its wing. Several iconic “Ice Age” characters, including franchise newcomer Buck Wild – voiced by Simon Pegg – look on from below, while fans can join the fun by sitting across the dinosaur’s wings.

The artwork will be available to view until 6:00pm today, after which it will continue to be used for events supporting The Walt Disney Company’s long-standing charity partners such as Make-A-Wish UK, helping create Moment That Matter for seriously ill children and those closest to them. The artist, will be on-site today painting a second piece of art inspired by The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild live – which will also be donated to charity – giving members of the public a unique opportunity to see it being created.

Anyone spotting The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild art today is encouraged to capture their own image and share it to social media using the hashtag #IceAge and @disneyplusuk
