BRIDGERTON: Phoebe Dynevor tops this season’s Instagram Rich List but who else makes the top ten?

New study reveals that Phoebe Dynevor is the most influential cast member from Bridgerton season two, earning up to £6,869 per sponsored social media post.

Research conducted by money experts Coupon Ninja examined the social media profiles of every cast member from the second season of Bridgerton, as well as influencer marketing calculators to establish which star is the most influential and how much they can earn per sponsored Instagram post.

Phoebe Dynevor, who plays season one lead Daphne Bridgerton on the show, took the top spot earning a potential £6,869 per sponsored Instagram post. This is due to her follower count of 2.7 million, the highest follower count of all the cast, and her above-average engagement rate of 3.54%. Dynevor gained prominence through her starring role in season one played alongside Regé Jean-Page’s character of Simon Basset, but takes on a reduced role this season as the story focuses on her brother, played by Jonathan Bailey.

Nicola Coughlan is revealed as the second most influential star of the show’s second season, who plays the character Penelope Featherington. The Derry Girls actress has the second-highest Instagram following of 1.4 million, allowing her to earn a potential of £3,520 per sponsored post.

Season two lead Jonathan Bailey can earn up to £3,038 per sponsored post, making him the third most influential star of the Netflix series. Bailey, who plays Lord Anthony Bridgerton on the show, has 1.2 million followers and an engagement rate of 15%, making his Instagram account ideal for sponsorship deals.

The fourth most influential cast member is Sex Education star Simone Ashley who plays the new season lead character, Kate Sharma. Ashley can expect to earn up to £2,769 per sponsored post as a result of having more than 700 thousand followers and an 11% Instagram engagement rate.

Luke Newton, who plays Colin Bridgerton, can expect to earn up to £2,119 per sponsored post, making him the fifth most influential star of season two due to his 561 thousand Instagram followers.

Regé Jean-Page, who played Simon Basset in season one, has not returned for the new season, although could make a whopping £13,871 per sponsored post due to his Instagram following of 5.5 million.

A spokesperson for Coupon Ninja commented on the findings: “The return of Bridgerton is a welcome one and there is no doubt millions of viewers will tune in to watch the new season. Season one smashed streaming records, with 82 million households streaming the series in the first month alone after its release in 2020.

Consequently, the show has proven to be a massive hit for Netflix and the cast are able to reap the benefits. As more people tune in to watch, the cast can expect to gain an even higher social media following, opening doors and opportunities to expand the actors and actress’ influence across social media.”
