The Night Owl Finsbury Park Launches Summer Programme of Events, ‘Summer of Soulful Sounds’

Late night bar and music venue The Night Owl Finsbury Park have just announced their programme of Summer events, ‘Summer of Soulful Sounds’, ready to kick off a sunny season of good music. The programme aims to showcase a variety of established and upcoming acts that stem from soul music influences or other retro-inspired sounds.

Launching the programme will be a week of special events with special guest DJs, networking events and live performances from the 27th May to the 1st June.

After launching during socially distanced covid restrictions last July, The Night Owl has worked hard to become the fabulous destination that it is today, offering a variety of live music events, brunches and club nights in the heart of Finsbury Park.

Following in the footsteps of the first Night Owl venue in Birmingham, The Night Owl is a fantastic, 100-cap, independent venue which boasts a bustling nightlife scene, irresistible happy hour deals and its own unique charm and personality. Having hosted big names such as 60’s soul legends The Flirtations, Primal Scream & Soho Radio’s Simone Butler, Ska royalty Rhoda Daka, lots of fresh upcoming talent plus a range of quality tribute acts.

“It was a difficult time opening last year in the middle of Covid restrictions, we had pushed back the launch several times and couldn’t wait any longer, despite this we built up a great following and have had some fantastic events over the past 10 months.

Now we’re ready to take things to the next level and really showcase the kind of music and events that we are about with the new summer programme of events ‘Summer of Soulful Sounds’ kicking off with a fun week of parties and gigs to launch the season from 27th May. We’re delighted to work with some grassroots local live acts, djs and promoters so we’ve tried to offer a selection of these throughout the launch week event and programme. We also try to keep our prices reasonable and affordable for our customers as we know it’s not been an easy ride for anyone.”
