Salon Booking App Booksy Turns Up the Heat at Bristol Business Event
Hair and beauty booking app Booksy hosted a massively successful business event in Bristol last week, in partnership with leading haircare brand Wahl Professional.
The booking app, which continues to go from strength to strength as downloads and business sign-ups soar, invited barbers, beauty providers, and hairdressers from across the UK to a special night of inspiration, education, and entertainment. Designed to help salon owners maximise their business from booking systems to barbering techniques, the celebrity event was held in Bristol’s Mercure Grand Hotel on Monday 20th June.
Booksy Ambassadors world-renowned Barber Alan Beak and creative hair colourist Pedro Plastic delighted guests with their hair masterclasses live on stage. Nail extraordinaire and Booksy ambassador Alice McNails gave a presentation on how to maximise brand partnerships which was well received by current and potential Booksy merchants.
The three Ambassadors also took to the stage for a Q and A session, offering top tips to help business owners take their salons to the next level.
The night was hosted by celebrity comedian Catherine Bohart who entertained guests with her witty comedy set, and guests were treated to a gourmet three-course dinner.
Anthony from JamesB Hair in Bristol said, “It was great to see Booksy showcase what they’re all about and I look forward to seeing what they can do for my business.”
Vishal Khakhar, Booksy’s Head of Marketing, said: “The evening was a huge success, it was fantastic to spend time with our existing merchants and work closely with them to help drive their businesses forward, as well as to connect with potential providers. We couldn’t have been happier with the results and want to say a huge well done to the team for putting together such a brilliant event.”
Sina Rajabali, owner of Original Barber from Eastbourne hailed the app as “the cheapest assistant you’ll ever pay for.”
The next day team Booksy took to the streets visiting app merchants face-to-face and giving out welcome packs and advice.
