I Saw It First Launches Sustainable Loungewear Line
Online fashion e-tailer, I Saw It First, has launched a brand-new conscious collection of loungewear made from sustainable cotton.
The jersey style loungewear consists of a range of colours, perfect for travelling in comfort, chilled catch-ups with friends and family or simply for a stroll in the park.
The Sustainable Staples range features a variety of styles, from t-shirts, leggings, shorts and crops – meaning whatever the occasion you can be dressed head to toe in comfort.
The collection is made using BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) approved cotton; an organisation that aims to reduce the environmental impact of cotton farming by providing training to farmers on how to significantly reduce the amount of water and pesticides used in cotton growth to minimise damage to the environment. The organisation also ensures fair wages and workers’ rights are enforced.
Jackie Lewis, Compliance Director at I Saw It First, said: “Here at I Saw It First we recognise being more sustainable requires mindful choices from farm to factory, to customer, and back again.
“We are working towards a future where we deliver speed to market but not landfill. Buy our sustainable staples range with confidence: they have been designed to last, are produced from recycled and low impact materials, and have been made in factories which are kind to the environment and people.
“This is just the beginning for I Saw It First’s sustainable journey which is a priority for us in the coming years.”
I Saw It First’s newly launched Sustainable Staples range is priced between £15 – £35 and is available now on the website: https://www.isawitfirst.com/collections/recycled
