TishTash Communications Expands with UK Launch

TishTash Communications, the award-winning, independent integrated marketing communications headquartered in Dubai is celebrating its tenth anniversary after a significant phase of growth with further expansion and the opening of its first office in the UK in Summer 2022.

Specialising in beauty, health and living well, TishTash brings over 10 years of global expertise to the UK market with their unique, consumer-centric approach that matches modern market needs, with a digital-first focus.

Founded in 2012 by CEO Natasha Hatherall, and run alongside fellow British expatriate MD Polly Williams, 2022 sees a decade of TishTash after a consolidated year of growth and industry-wide recognition. 2021 saw TishTash add to their roster of regional and global clients across the Middle East, whilst earning the Best Medium Consultancy and Best PR Leader accolades at the PRCA Regional PR Awards.

The agency grew 50% year on year and the business wins resulted in a number of new hires and internal promotions within the TishTash team, continuing the company mission of developing and nurturing staff within the agency environment. The TishTash management team cite the strong commitment to company culture, flexibility in working conditions and continued investment in people as the key drivers behind their exponential growth this year, and now have a staff of over 35 personnel across the GCC and UK.

The move into the UK will consolidate the needs of clients existing and new, amongst a growing need for global representation for current brands. TishTash clients include ASICS, The Body Shop, Bath and Body Works, Boots Middle East, Filorga, L’Occitane, Watsons, Flormar, Muji, Zoflora and celebrity hairdresser Rossano Ferretti.

Heading the UK office will be Kellie Whitehead, with over 20 years of integrated communications experience across the UK, Europe and the GCC within entertainment, elite sports, consumer lifestyle and latterly focused on digital PR and brand journalism.

On the UK expansion, Natasha Hatherall says, “Over the past decade, TishTash has seen many homegrown brands in the GCC flourish and expand globally. TishTash is no different and offering our services to cover the UK and internationally is the logical next step. We are market leaders in placing consumer brands into the hearts and minds of their target demographic. As a female-founded and run independent agency, the collective experience of our senior management covers decades, continents and industries, including significant UK experience as my home country. With our specific expertise in matching consumers with brands by meeting them ‘where they are now’ – via creative campaigns, both international and regional, our core values and understanding of the current business and consumer landscape , TishTash is looking forward to sharing our unique perspective and services with UK clients”.

On matching the TishTash ethos with the UK media landscape, Kellie Whitehead says; “It’s more apparent than ever that consumers of today are natural brand ambassadors and expect transparency, authenticity, and engagement in return from the goods and services they are loyal to. Brands need to meet them at all the potential media touchpoints, and not just online. The TishTash team brings a wealth of consumer knowledge and insight to our clients, helping them connect in ways that bolster not only their social proof, but their bottom line through uniquely creative campaigning and activations. The British market is ready for a new wave of marketing and media relations through digital PR and direct-to-consumer communications”
