Domino’s renames Lucy Bronze’s former Domino’s store to “Lucy’s”

In celebration of England getting through to the Finals this Sunday, Domino’s is honouring Lioness and former Domino’s store colleague, Lucy Bronze, with her very own store, as from today the Headingly, Leeds store has had a huge transformation and will be known as ‘Lucy’s’ for the remainder of the tournament.

The England star who landed an epic goal in the match against Sweden worked at the Headingly store during her days as a student at Leeds Metropolitan University. The impressive header into the back of the net sees Lucy reach a whopping 84 caps and 11 goals for England.

But that’s not all… as England ready themselves to face Germany in the final match at Wembley this Sunday – Domino’s is marking the momentous occasion by giving away a free pizza to any heroes called ‘Lucy’ collecting from the Headingly, Leeds store on Sunday 31st July in time for the final, but fans will have to be quick, as terms and condition apply – see below.

Following the biggest night in history for the English women’s national side on Tuesday, some specially selected Headingly delivery drivers will be honouring Lucy Bronze by donning bronze helmets in the lead up to the final.

Ricky Kandola, Operations Director at SK Group, said: “Lucy Bronze worked at Domino’s so of course she delivers! We have always been proud of Lucy’s journey from pizza to pitch. Fingers crossed that Lucy and the team can make a pizza history and bring home the trophy! We’re currently looking for superstar players to join our squad and have numerous roles available, so if you think you’re match-fit then get in touch.”

Pizza fans nationwide can still to enjoy a slice of the action as they watch the football this Sunday by ordering online, through the Domino’s app or via their nearest store.
