Galliard Homes has completed all building works on the two apartment buildings at the £140 million residential-led scheme TCRW SOHO coinciding with the launch of the first phase of 81 apartments for sale. This momentous achievement was celebrated by a launch party, in September, with a series of dressed show apartments, with varied layouts, by different interior designers being showcased to potential buyers and agents. The completion of TCRW SOHO comes just over 18 months since construction began with the first move-ins expected before Christmas 2022.

TCRW SOHO is a landmark residential-led regeneration project which fronts onto Oxford Street, at the top of the historic thoroughfare Dean Street, offering exceptionally luxurious homes right in the heart of the West End with the new Crossrail Interchange directly below. Galliard were the principal contractor for TCRW SOHO with Ramboll acting as Consulting Engineers.

Designed by architectural practice Hawkins\Brown the two completed apartment buildings, together, present an exquisite choice of 81 studio, one, two and three apartments ranging from 409 sq ft to 1411 sq ft and 11 one-, two- and three-bedroom penthouses with distinct layouts and designs.

The buildings are distinguished by their architectural design. One apartment building is an Art Deco inspired building notable for a bold, contemporary design, constructed in dark reconstituted stone with gold panelling reflecting the vibrant, contemporary atmosphere of Oxford Street and Soho. The other building is inspired by the more traditional nature of Soho’s local brick Georgian architecture. The Art Deco inspired building provides 69 apartments across six floors and a 7,989 sq ft Oxford Street retail unit on the ground floor, and the Georgian inspired building provides 23 apartments across five floors and 1,950 sq ft of new retail accommodation on the ground floor. Each building has its own entrance and hotel-style reception foyer, with residents to be presented with an exceptional concierge service.

Galliard hosted the drinks reception at TCRW SOHO to showcase to guests the completed development alongside the newly launched show apartments by Honky Interior Architecture and Design, Coronado Interiors. Seven total show apartments have been commissioned by Galliard to be designed by four different interior designers with Olivia Alexandra Interior Design and the China Design Centre to install their offerings in October. The apartments all showcase how unique a home can be made, tailored to individual tastes whilst being in the same luxury development.

The design concept and specification for TCRW SOHO has been devised by internationally acclaimed interior designer Nicola Fontanella of Argent Design who has created some of the world’s most exclusive homes in London, Miami, Monaco, and New York for clients including A-listers Madonna, Guy Ritchie and Naomi Campbell.

All the apartments have a stylish reception room with full height glazing, feature coffered ceilings, bespoke entertainment unit with a large screen smart TV and statement flooring using natural oak one strip hardwood engineered timber. The fully fitted designer kitchens have veneer kitchen cabinets with quartz stone worktops and Miele integrated appliances. The bedrooms have bespoke fitted wardrobes and rich, soft tone bedroom carpets, with large format porcelain marble tiled bathrooms with underfloor warming. The majority of apartments in each block benefit from private exterior space ranging from winter garden style balconies to extensive sun terraces.

Based around Oxford Street, Regent’s Street, and Bond Street, London’s West End is home to over 600 retailers, over 70 leading restaurants, over 40 theatre/cinema venues and six world-class universities. On Oxford Street alone famous brand names include Selfridges, Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Hakkasan, and Nike Town.

The Crossrail Interchange, directly below TCRW SOHO, offers access to the Elizabeth line and the Northern and Central underground lines. The Elizabeth line has capacity for up to 24 high speed trains per hour, serving up to 170,000 passengers daily, with Tottenham Court Road providing high speed journeys to Heathrow Airport (28 minutes), Canary Wharf (12 minutes), Bond Street (2 minutes), City of London/Liverpool Street (5 minutes), and Stratford (14 minutes).

Stephen Conway, Executive Chairman and CEO at Galliard Homes says: “TCRW SOHO provides world class apartments in an unrivalled location off Oxford Street in the heart of London’s West End. Directly above The Crossrail Interchange, TCRW SOHO is a truly unique opportunity for buyers to be connected to the rest of the bustling city whilst owning their own luxury oasis of calm within the development.
