JAMES AND OLA JORDAN, BLAKE HARRISON, JB GILL, ADAM GARCIA, LINDA ROBSON AND AMY HART AMONGST CELEBRITIES AT
MAGIC MIXIES CRYSTAL BALL LAUNCH EVENT
Moose Toys celebrated the launch of its brand new Magic Mixies Crystal Ball with a star-studded event hosted at Smyths Toys in Croydon today (Sunday 2nd October).
Stars in attendance with their families included presenter, singer songwriter and former JLS star, JB Gill; actor, dancer and singer, Adam Garcia; reality TV personality, Amy Hart; singer songwriter and actor, Anthony Costa; actor, Blake Harrison; and reality TV stars and family vloggers, Cara and Nathan Massey, Linda Robson and her grandchildren, James and Ola Jordan Strictly Come Dancing ex-professionals and In Betweeners star, Blake Harrison.
In keeping with the spirit of the Magic Mixies Crystal Ball, guests and their children were taken through the spellbinding process of the toy by none other than child magician and Britain’s Got Talent finalist, Aidan McCann. Attendees were even able to bring the magic to life themselves and were taken through wand tutorials led by the Moose Toys and Smyths teams.
Children will be able to cast their own spells and create a fortune telling pet inside the brand-new Magic Mixies Crystal Ball – available to buy now after the exclusive launch this weekend.
Magic Mixies was the spellbinding toy of 2021 and has returned this year with even more magical, enchanting and interactive play.
From the moment the wand is picked up, the magic begins as it interacts with the Crystal Ball. Wave the wand over the Crystal Ball for the recognisable Magic Mixies mist to fill it up and the magical process of creating a Mixie will begin! The Mixie will be given a voice, colour, fortune telling powers and more.
Different wand movements will mean the Mixie could have a higher or lower voice and when the magic words, “Magicus Mixus”, are spoken the final spell is cast and an adorable plush Magic Mixie is revealed from the mist inside the Crystal Ball.
And there’s more… the magic and fun has only just begun when the interactive toy pet is taken out of the Crystal Ball. The Mixie has four different modes of play including its Fortune Teller mode. Children can ask the Mixie questions and its forehead gem will reveal a “yes”, “no” or “I’m unsure” answer. The gems also interact with the magic wand – overall the toy has over 80 sounds and reactions. A picture containing text, sweet, dessert

The Mixie also reacts to children as they tickle and play with the cute creation and build up a magical friendship.
The Magic Mixies Crystal Ball can be reset so the mist-filled reveal can take place time and time again. Refill mist packs are also sold separately so the magic can stay alive forever.
At the end of the day, the Crystal Ball can be switched to night light mode with the option to change the colour of the night light. The light automatically switches off after a half hour.
Taking the magic another step further, children can go from apprentice to mastering all the magic the wand has to offer with a mini “wand school” how-to video, accessed via a QR Code on the product packaging and the two included spell books.
Magic Mixies Crystal Ball is suitable for children aged over five and requires batteries which are included in the pack.
