DE NADAS creates the UK’s First Brusselnada
DE NADAS, London’s first empanadería, has launched the UK’s first empanada with Brussels Sprouts.
Created in both vegetarian and meat versions, the Brusselnada for veggies features slow-roasted Brussel Sprouts, melted goat’s cheese and caramelised onions, and for meat lovers, the Brusselnada comes with the addition of crispy bacon. Shaped-by-hand with 100% Argentinian dough, all DE NADAS’ empanadas are then baked, not fried.
DE NADAS will be serving the Brusselnada for £3.50, from 15th November until 31st December. The Christmas special, alongside DE NADAS’ other flavours, can be enjoyed at its Golborne Road shop, as a weekday take-away or boxed up as gift for dinner. From November, DE NADAS is also taking bookings of up to 10 people for wine, Vermouth, and empanada tastings from its Vinyl Wine room.
Bought individually or in bundles of six, 9, 12 (£9.50 for three, £18 for six and £32 for 12), DE NADAS features 15 different shaped empanadas with meat, vegetarian and plant-based fillings. These include the popular Classic Beef, Ham & Cheese, Chorizo, Spicy Lamb and MDQ, the Argentinian take on the Hawaiian.
Nine vegetarian options include Smoked Malbec and Puca Capa, with cheese, coriander and aji molido, Caprese, Blue Cheese & Pear and Palmitos with mozzarella, palm hearts and salsa golf. For vegans there is also a juicy roasted Butternut Squash & Kale.
DE NADAS was created to bring a touch of Buenos Aires to London and give empanadas the cult-like status they deserve in the UK. Since opening in September, DE NADAS has already attracted a strong fan-base, with people flocking from across London to try authentic Argentinian hand-shaped empanadas.
