IDEAL HOME SHOW CHRISTMAS RETURNS TO OLYMPIA THIS NOVEMBER
Ideal Home Show Christmas is returning for another magical year in London between Wednesday 23rd – Sunday 27th November 2022. Over 600 exhibitors will fill Olympia with enough seasonal gifts, decorations, and inspiration to create a festive filled home this Christmas.
Back for its eleventh year, the show will be split across four sections including Home, Decorations, Gifts and Pet, bringing together the ultimate seasonal essentials to make your home sparkle this Christmas.
Sounds of Christmas cheer and chimes will fill the air with entertainment from nationally acclaimed gospel choir group Enchorus, and gospel singer Roger Samuels to harmony arrangements by Triptonic and postmodern swing from the vintage trio The Jukebox Sweethearts who will all be gettingyou in the Christmas mood over at the Christmas Bandstand.
Visitors should head over to Christmas Home, sponsored by Hydropool for interior styling ideas, festive furnishings, and seasonal colour inspiration as well as the latest accessories to add a special touch to their home this year. Whilst there, they can take a walk through the four themed Good Homes Roomsets, in association with Next Home, Scandi Luxe, Arctic Shimmer, Winter Berry and Woodland Jewel roomsets will be filled with festive creative designs from seasonal interiors to the newest furniture trends for homes this Christmas – helping create the ultimate living, dining and relaxing spaces to impress your guests.
From fairy lights to baubles, this year’s Christmas Decorations section is the perfect place to add a sprinkle of Christmas to your home from bespoke decorations from artisan makers and craftsmen.
The Christmas Gifts section is filled with this season’s best toys, gadgets, personalised gifts and tonnes of stocking fillers – perfect for ticking off the shopping gift list for him, her and the kids all under one roof!
The Christmas Theatre will hold sessions by a host of the nation’s favourite experts and will give in-depth lessons on all things Christmas décor from creating a stylish Christmas tablespace, to creative gift ideas that won’t break the bank including an easy way to personalise a picture frame and how to make a Christmas Terrarium. Plus, visitors can get ready to sing, dance and go on a magical panto adventure with a live performance of Sleeping Beauty – the Panto – all included in their entry ticket into the Show!
For those that want to get hands-on, Christmas Workshops are back, including sessions from LUSH, Hobbycraft and IKEA Lagom Live. From learning how to make beautiful wreaths and decorations to soap bombs and present making, they’ll enjoy a fun interactive day out!
To make sure no-one is missed off the Christmas list, the Ideal Home Show Christmas has a dedicated section for animal lovers. From doggy jumpers to festive flavoured chews, the Christmas Pet section will ensure any four-legged friend will also have a very merry Christmas!
And, to really kick-start the Christmas season, visitors can also enjoy a delicious 2-course Christmas lunch over at the Gregg Wallace Christmas Carvery. Set in beautifully festive surroundings, resident chefs will serve up a traditional Christmas menu, designed by Gregg himself.
Visitors of Ideal Home Show Christmas also get free access to the co-located with the Eat & Drink Festival Christmas, where they will discover international cuisine, enjoy sweet and savoury flavours, sample a festive tipple (or two) and experience the pleasure of finding something different. Plus, with a whole host of independent stalls selling all those festive party food & drink must-haves, there are tonnes to stock up on to help lay a great spread when entertaining guests. Matt Tebbutt will join straight from BBC’s Saturday Kitchen to share his interesting take on a Christmas pudding, MasterChef finalists Billy & Jack share a few of their festive favourite, the ever-popular Rosemary Shrager will cook up a cured salmon delight, a perfect starter, and Channel 4-Netflix Extreme Cake Makers’ Molly Robbins, conjures up some sweet festive treats – these demos, and many more, can be found on The Christmas Kitchen stage where taste buds will be tingling, and stomach’s rumbling!
Alternatively, show goers can also use a moment in their day to unwind with a glass of bubbly in the Champagne Bar, sponsored by Suns Lifestyle or enjoy a free nail treatment in the Pamper Lounge, in association with London College of Beauty Therapy.
