On Saturday 19 November 2022, the Royal Opera House is delighted to be bringing world class ballet and opera to audiences free of charge. For the first time ever, screens in the Westfield London shopping centre will be showing highlights from The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera’s award-winning productions, adding drama and excitement to your local shopping experience.

Extracts from six major shows – Swan Lake, La traviata, The Nutcracker, Tosca, Romeo and Juliet and Rigoletto – will be screened between 10am and 6pm, offering shoppers a unique opportunity to see performances by some of the world’s greatest artists for free. From snowflakes to Shakespeare, tragic tales to Christmas treats, there’s something for everyone – new stories to enjoy, and new worlds to experience. Further screenings across the country are planned throughout autumn and winter.
