Picpus Press is celebrating its tenth anniversary with the launch of a new publication.
Called Picpus leporello, it will present mini-monographs of artists, starting with three editions dedicated to Isa Genzken, Peter Saville and John Dunkley.
Editors and founders Charles Asprey and Simon Grant will launch the new publication on 14 November 2018, at a reception at Tyers Street project space, where a small exhibition of Picpus covers will be displayed.
Says Grant: ‘Our aim is to work with extraordinary artists whose work we admire – be they historic, modern or contemporary – and shine a light on aspects of their practice that are overlooked, little known or new.’
The monograph series, which takes its name from a bookbinding term – leporello describes material printed in a concertina format – will be published occasionally.
