Angel Central, in the heart of Islington, is hosting a Do Good Festival over May and June 2023. The festival will feature headline acts, retailer and community activity and events focused on the small steps everyone can take towards a more environmentally sustainable future.

The Do Good Festival will kick off with Lone Design Club (LDC) popping up from Wednesday 17th May until Wednesday 21st June. Based in the Do Good Hub, LDC will be bringing a rotation of the next generation of independent designers and brands with an emphasis on sustainability, ethical production, conscious design, traceability and transparency. This will also include a representation of local Islington businesses as well as a dedicated selling space for Islington MIND.

Angel Central will also be partnering with Islington Climate Centre during Climate Coalition Big Green Week, 10th-18th June and London Climate Action Week, 24th June – 2nd July to host a series of events.

Love Not Landfill will be returning following their very successful pop-up last year to close the event from Thursday 29th June to Monday 3rd July. This non-profit campaign by ReLondon encourages fast-fashion fans to buy second-hand, swap, recycle and give to charity. A must for any fashion lover!

In addition, the ever-popular Angel Central Sustainable Market will be held on four dates across the Do Good Festival, and we will be hosting free kids’ craft classes with Little Angel Theatre.

Angel Central’s Centre Manager, Adam Cummins says, “Our Feel Good Festival in October was hugely successful with a series of events and activities focusing on wellness, health and feeling great, which visitors loved. Puppy Yoga came as a pop-up and is happily still here, plus we raised over £4,000 for our charity partner, Islington MIND. Sustainability and community are at the heart of what we do and the Do Good Festival is our way of celebrating that.”
