Rudy's Pizza gives 5,000 FREE pizzas away to celebrate new opening - London TV

Rudy’s Pizza gives 5,000 FREE pizzas away to celebrate new opening

Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana has announced it will be opening a Shoreditch-based pizzeria, with 5,000 free pizzas available for Londoners to claim at LINK. The neighbourhood pizzeria will bring its celebrated Neapolitan pizzas and fan-favourite dips to Shoreditch High Street this December.

The new Shoreditch pizzeria – the second venue in London following the city’s love for Rudy’s Pizza on Wardour Street, Soho – will be set across two floors with the majority of covers in a light and airy ground-floor space below the recently developed Fora, alongside a smaller, more intimate basement dining room, and a courtyard. Those who sign up here will be able to claim one of 5,000 pizzas available on-the-house once the restaurant opens later this year.

Born out of passion for pizza, Rudy’s follows the authentic Neapolitan tradition of pizza-making, renowned for its consistency and quality. Joining an eclectic and celebrated culinary scene in Shoreditch, the relaxed and friendly dining concept will offer classic recipes such as Marinara, Margherita and Calabrese – all originating from Naples, the birthplace of pizza – alongside paying homage to famous pizzerias around the globe with rotating specials.

Rudy’s dough is made fresh daily by their in-house pizzaioli, using Caputo ‘00’ flour which takes over 24 hours to be lovingly made, before being topped with the highest-quality ingredients from Naples. This includes San Marzano tomatoes grown on fields at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, and traditional Fior di Latte mozzarella.

Staying true to the traditions of Naples, each pizza is cooked to order, for around 60 seconds – resulting in a soft and light pizza with an airy and raised edge.

Finally, the new Rudy’s in Shoreditch will honour its authentic Neapolitan roots, with a well-stocked bar serving iconic Italian spritzes, crisp Italian Poretti, and classic stirred-cocktails.

Commenting on the new openings, Neal Bates of Rudy’s Pizza, said: “We’re so excited to have the opportunity to share our authentic Neapolitan pizzas to even more Londoners. We’re delighted to be joining the thriving neighbourhood of Shoreditch, and look forward to opening our doors later this year. We’re looking forward to showing those across the capital just how authentic our menu is with 5,000 free pizzas available as you really do have to taste it to believe it.”

There will also be a third London-based Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana opening in Tottenham Court Road at the end of the year. Taking over a light-filled corner plot in London’s Fitzrovia, the restaurant will offer a cosy and intimate destination in which to enjoy Rudy’s acclaimed Neapolitan fare.
