Celebrating the fabulousness of independent publishers and indie authors, and the festivities of the Christmas season, prize-winning UK publicity company, Literally PR (LitPR) is returning with its BIG Indie Book Launch on December 5th 2023!

The BIG Festive Indie Book Launch will see not one but a whopping TEN books launching at the same time, at the sixth-floor auditorium in the iconic Foyles Charing Cross Road.

Showcasing the finest that UK indie publishing has to offer just in time for Christmas, this promises to be a wonderful opportunity for journalists, reviewers, bookstagrammers, book bloggers, librarians, booksellers and literary agents to chat with indie authors and publishers over a festive glass of fizz!

In keeping with the LitPR party tradition, every guest will be gifted a bag on arrival. They are then set the challenge of circulating the room to meet authors and publishers, collect merch and goodies for their bags, and of course, a few books!

With a full-on festive theme, including giveaways, fizz, soft drinks and delicious Christmas treats, plus readings from the amazing 10 books, and plenty of opportunities to kick back and enjoy, this is a festive party that is set to become a highlight of the publishing calendar.

Helen Lewis, director and founder of LitPR, which has worked with more than 650 authors/publishers over the past 13 years, says:

“There are super-high expectations of our BIG Festive Indie Book Launch following the success of the summer edition in July. We enjoyed the positive buzz around the room, the wonderful feedback from guests and the incredible authors, and got amazing feedback from the guests. Our aim is to create another successful, positive book launch experience for everyone to remember for a long time, with none of the awkwardness of networking events, thanks to the things to do, people to meet, books to discover. Publishing parties can sometimes be a bit dry, book launch events are tricky to orchestrate well, and networking events can leave some of us feeling out of the loop. My team and I will be on hand to ensure that everything runs smoothly, and our goal is that people leave feeling connected, included, and part of our TBR (The Bookish Review) Community.”
