2 REAL LIFE BEAUTIES FROM LONDON SELECTED TO BE THE NEW FACES OF COLLECTION COSMETICS

Collection Cosmetics has today unveiled the new faces of the brand – and 2 out of the 13 winners are inspiring, real, everyday people from London, who celebrate and champion Real Life Beauty.

Collection’s brand-new 2024 Real Life Beauty campaign is about celebrating, championing, and elevating beauty through real life moments. It’s about being unapologetically yourself, embracing individuality and accepting that beauty has no limits. The Real Life Beauty campaign follows the success of Collection’s Real You campaign which saw the beauty brand make the pioneering move in 2021 to ban all filters and editing of any models and influencers across their branded content.

Last month, Collection hosted its very first ‘Real Life Beauty’ casting where over 100 candidates attended a studio in Manchester in the hope of becoming the new face of Collection Cosmetics. Each candidate had to present to the panel what Real Life Beauty means to them, as well as demonstrating how comfortable they are in front of the camera by having their headshots taken.

The Real Life Beauty panel, made up of beauty expert and freelance journalist, Cassie Powney, influencer Dani G, , fashion model Cindy Dacosta Bavutudia and Collection Cosmetics’ Marketing Director Annie Anstey, met all candidates on the day and had the tough job of deciding on the new face of Collection.

With over 300 applicants and 100 people attending the casting, Collection Cosmetics will feature, not one, not two, but 13 real life beauties across a range of their campaigns in 2024. The chosen candidates, in no favourable order are:

– Shola Souris from London
– Sonia Julie from London
– Ayesha Choudhury from Sheffield
– Lola Prior from Leeds
– Taylor Kerwin from Liverpool
– Harley Pearson from Birmingham
– Vicky Flint, from Bedford
– Ayesha Choudhury from Sheffield
– Amba Smith from Lincolnshire
– Luana Ferreira from Corby
– Toni Mccoy Hopwood from Manchester
– Laura Lucas from Manchester
– May Saifeldin from Manchester
– Hannah Ward-Jones from Manchester

The winners have all been selected to attend a range of upcoming shoots, and they will go on to represent the Collection Cosmetics brand and new products, in their own, real way. As well as appearing as part of new product launches, their images will also feature across Collection’s website, within a number of Superdrug and Boots stores and across all of Collection’s social channels. What’s more they’ve all won a year’s supply of Collection Cosmetics make up as well as a £300 voucher.

Annie Anstey, Collection Marketing Director commented:
“This was our first ever open casting, and it was inspiring to see so many different people from all different walks of life walk through the doors in the hope of becoming the face of our brand. For us, we champion uniqueness, and our Real Life Beauty campaign means a lot to us, so it was a no brainer that we had to select more than one winner.

“We want to ensure that Collection is known for being a relatable and inclusive brand that truly understands that beauty has no limits. It was amazing to be a part of the panel, alongside Cassie, Dani, and Cindy. We had a very difficult decision to make between us, but we thoroughly enjoyed hearing everyone’s story”.
