SUSHISAMBA Heron Tower Celebrates Summer with Veuve Clicquot

There’s no better place to soak up the sunshine in the capital than SUSHISAMBA Heron Tower’s newly transformed outdoor terraces, in partnership with the prestigious Champagne house Veuve Clicquot. Situated on the 38th floor, the restaurant boasts two of the highest outdoor terraces in the UK. The Tree Terrace, featuring an iconic 26ft sculptural orange tree and fireplace, and the East Terrace, offering the best panoramic views of London and famous landmarks such as the Gherkin and Tower Bridge, are the ultimate settings for al fresco dining and Champagne indulgence this season.
A celebrated destination in the sky, SUSHISAMBA’s picturesque East Terrace has been reimagined for the summer with Veuve Clicquot’s signature golden-yellow decor. The terrace, seating 26 guests, features a bespoke bar, a golden photo arch with a charming bicycle, cozy blankets, plush cushions, and vibrant greenery to enhance the design.

The Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian-inspired menu, created by Culinary Director Lee Bull, features an array of SUSHISAMBA signature favourites and new dishes evoking the essence of summer, expertly paired with Veuve Clicquot Champagnes. Highlights include the refreshing Lobster Seviche with yuzu leche de tigre, vegetable julienne, and rice cracker, and the Heritage Tomato Salad with pomegranate molasses and mint cress, both paired with Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut. Among the colourful Samba Rolls are the Piñagi with freshwater eel, grilled pineapple, cucumber, and avocado, and the El Topo® with salmon, jalapeño, melted mozzarella, crispy shallots and spicy mayo recommended with Veuve Clicquot Rosé. For the ultimate indulgence, the Supreme Kobe Nigiri & Sashimi with foie gras and shaved truffle and Robata Black Cod served with Peruvian asparagus and miso are elegantly balanced by the light floral notes of La Grande Dame 2015. For dessert, the Limonero is beautifully presented as a lemon sphere made with nectarine and apricot mousse, olive oil, passion fruit jelly, and bergamot meringue.
