Caremark Bromley celebrates triumph at Stars of Social Care Awards

Caremark Bromley, a local provider of home care, is thrilled to announce its victory at the prestigious Stars of Social Care Awards where it won the Best Franchisee Award. Surpassing nine other home care franchisees for the title, Caremark Bromley’s win was revealed at an awards evening in June held at The Marriott Regents Park, London.

The Stars of Social Care Awards celebrate exceptional contributions and achievements within the social care sector, recognising organisations and individuals who demonstrate dedication, compassion, and excellence in their roles. The Best Franchisee Award category acknowledges a franchisee who delivers consistently high-quality, person-centred care in the community, demonstrably consistent growth and a high level of staff retention, training, and development – criteria that encapsulate Caremark Bromley’s ethos and achievements.

Under the leadership of Managing Director Sharon Dhillon, Caremark Bromley delivers over 4,500 hours of weekly care and has become a distinguished home care franchise in the London Borough of Bromley. Exceeding all growth expectations for its area, demonstrating impressive staff retention rates and showing a commitment to continuous staff development and job satisfaction were the key factors that secured this award.

Award judges explained why Sharon Dhillon and her team won the award:

“Caremark Bromley is driven by a tailored training approach and a culture of continuous development. With a 95% staff retention rate, it prioritises staff wellbeing through various initiatives. Outstanding reviews and ratings reflect an absolute commitment to excellence.”

Discussing what the win means for the franchise, Sharon said:

“To be able to say that we have won the Best Franchisee Award is well deserved recognition for our whole team and the sheer amount of hard work, commitment and compassion they devote to caring for people across Bromley day in and day out. This award might have my name attributed to it, but the win really highlights the whole team’s determination to improve lives within our community.

“This success, and the ability to provide exceptional care, all comes down to how happy our staff are, which is why we’re really focused on making sure our colleagues are valued. So, whether it’s team teaching, or specialised clinical training, staff are encouraged to seize all available training opportunities which has fostered a culture of ongoing development. I think this has contributed to a collective drive to expand our services, to continually improve and deliver the very best care that we can. This award is a wonderful recognition of what the team is doing for our Bromley community and of all that we hope to achieve together in the future.”
