Olympic screening at East Villge
With Paris 2024 Olympics coming to an end, Victory Park in East Village, Stratford will be showing the final few sporting events this week, as well as the Closing Ceremony on Sunday 11 August. With a huge screen and plenty of comfy deck chairs available, East Village is the perfect spot for your readers to catch the last Olympics action while surrounded by Olympic history in the former athletes’ village.
In addition to the screenings, visitors can battle it out on one-of-a-kind Ping Pong tables designed by Art of Ping Pong X RÆBURN as well as enjoying delicious Olympic-themed treats and special offers from local retailers. Highlights include Italian eatery Santi’s picnic lunch for two, a free baby cone resembling the Olympic torch with any large cone purchased from La Gelateria, discounted takeaway sushi rolls from Bamboo Mat, and refreshing homemade ice lollies from Signorelli Bakehouse.
With East Village being a significant part of Olympic and Paralympic history, visitors can’t hope for a more immersive setting in London to commemorate the final days of the momentous sporting event. They can even grab selfies at the famous Olympic Rings in the nearby Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park or the equally impressive Agitos, the symbol of the Paralympic Games, located north of Victory Park.
